Allow me to Reintroduce Myself!
Hey there! I’m Joni Rials. I’m the owner of Seek and Sip Travel( check us out here) and I believe that wine and travel should be accessible for those who are curious about the industry. I currently hold a WSET: Level II Wine and Spirit Certification and I recently just earned a Champagne Certification( with merit) through the Comité of Champagne, France. I also hold various travel destination certifications too.
But you know, despite these honors I still have a long way to go. I am, by no means, a wine/spirits expert. To be honest, there are very few (if any at all) experts in the wine and travel industry. Why? Because these industries are constantly evolving.. changing and redefining their stories.
I’m a Midwestern girl, born and raised on the South Side of Chicago, but my Southern roots are reflected in just about everything about me as well. I have a big heart, a gypsy soul and a strong heart for service. I’m a natural educator and I love sharing quirky and interesting things I learn during my travels. My ultimate goal in life is to visit every destination in the world known for excellence in the wine and spirits industry!
In the fall, I’m planning to enroll in the WSET Level III Wine and Spirits Certification. Next year, I plan to enroll in the Champagne Master Level Program by the Wine Scholar Guild. In between time and forever after, I will continue to develop my plate, share my knowledge with you and travel as much as possible.
Soooo welcome to my blog and think of me as your “Wine and Spirits Guide”. I would love for us to grow our knowledge together, sip all the delicous wine and cocktails and travel the world exploring this magical planet together.
